Jan van Haasteren Scandinavia puzzles – 'Reissues'
In the Jan van Haasteren jigsaw puzzles you have a 'special' series of puzzles, namely the Scandinavia puzzles. What are these kinds of puzzles, and how do they differ from the others? I will show and explain that below.
Why are there JvH Scandinavia puzzles?
Scandinavia puzzles are puzzles that are really only intended for the Scandinavian countries. What exactly the Scandinavian countries are is sometimes unclear, but let's start from the countries: Denmark, Norway and Sweden. Finland might be one of them. These puzzles are little different from the Dutch ones, sometimes the size can be slightly different. The numbers of these puzzles always start with an 8.
However - as of February 4, 2023, the numbering of the puzzles will change. For example, numbers have now become '1119800100'. The recognizability that a Scandinavian puzzle starts with an '8' has therefore been released as of February 2023.
Example of a JvH Scandinavia puzzle
