What makes this puzzle special
ELZZUP is the original name of the famous Wasgij puzzle, released by Jumbo upon its introduction to the Dutch market. The name was not chosen by accident: ELZZUP is simply the word “puzzle” written backwards. After a short time, the name was changed to Wasgij so that the Dutch market could capitalize on the growing popularity in the United Kingdom. Puzzlers familiar with the ELZZUP puzzle know that it involves a unique concept where you do not recreate the image on the box, but rather a different, surprising scene. What makes this puzzle series unique is the playful and challenging approach that makes puzzlers think differently. In total, only five puzzles have been released under the name ELZZUP, all with a Dutch title and without an English translation.
