Jan van Haasteren Puzzle 'The Craft Brewery'
I haven't made this puzzle yet. But I have heard that it is very popular! Have you already made it? Then give a review below and upload your photo! It is the puzzle 'The Craft Brewery' – this is number 20065, issued in 2022 on February 5th. This is Jan van Haasteren's first new puzzle in 2022. This puzzle is drawn by Robert Derks Studio Jan van Haasteren. It's this puzzle:

More about this puzzle
This puzzle was published on February 5, 2022. It is also available in the 2000 piece version (number 20064). The brewery that was used for this as inspiration for Rob Derks is Brewery 'D'n Drul', in Groesbeek. This is not surprising, because Rob Derks himself lives in Nijmegen, which is 10 kilometers away from Groesbeek. It is also the case that Rob Derks has already signed and designed a few beer labels for this brewery in 2021 (already 5 pieces). For example, Rob has for this Dark Ale beer designed and signed the label. Also for this 'Weizen' beer Rob designed the label. One more then (and that's the last 🙂 ), also for 'Surprisingly Blonde – Triple BlondeRob signed the label.
Rob Derks and Nijmegen
It is not surprising that the brewery is located near Nijmegen and was used by Rob Derks. Previous puzzles by Rob Derks also include many items from Nijmegen, namely:
- Nijmegen Four Days Marches
- The Vineyard (in Groesbeek!)
- Sanquin Blood Bank (Sanquin Blood Bank in Nijmegen) – only appeared in 500 pieces
Rob Derks and his hometown Nijmegen
The nice thing is that Rob Derks gets a lot of inspiration from companies and events in Nijmegen and the surrounding area. I have made a special page about this in which everything is described. Knowing more? Read: 'Rob Derks and Nijmegen'.

Brewery 'D'n Drul' in Groesbeek
What kind of brewery is this in Groesbeek? I have copied the description from their website:
“In the middle of a rolling landscape, close to the German border, lies Groesbeek, a village where Burgundian life is celebrated. From our brewery we want to introduce Groesbeek, the Netherlands and the rest of the world to the best our brewery has to offer. That is why we have invested in professional brewing equipment and knowledge in recent years. Having become wise in the specialty beer arena, we do our own thing. We draw our own trail. No frills, no exterior, but quality and craftsmanship. We know what we stand for: an honest, idiosyncratic and solid brewery, where beautiful beers are developed and brewed. A genuine and honest product also includes genuine and honest entrepreneurship. Use good equipment and be aware of people and the environment. But also working together with Pluryn's work company, to provide space for people who find meaningful daytime activities with it. Making beautiful beers, with passion and feeling. And then let them come into their own in our beautiful craft beer glass”
