The mystery surrounding the puzzles 'The Inauguration' and 'Ribbon Rain'

There's a lot of confusion surrounding the puzzles "The Inauguration" and "Ring of Honors" – several variations have appeared, and it's very difficult to determine the differences. I've compiled the following overview (If you really want to know everything about this, read this page):

The inauguration	17312	The title on the box is "De Inhuldiging" (The Inauguration) and has number 17312. Released in 2013. This is an orange box with the Dutch flag on the front and the text "Limited Edition." The puzzle shows the city of Amsterdam and many people celebrating. This is during the inauguration of King Willem-Alexander. King Willem-Alexander was thus appointed king in 2013, which led to the puzzle "De Inhuldiging" in 2013. NOTE: This puzzle was also released in 2013 in a blue box with 2000 pieces and number 17313.
The inauguration	17312	The title on the box is "The Inauguration" and has number 17312. Released in 2013. This is a blue box. This is the first standard (or "basic") puzzle of "The Inauguration."
2013 Honors Day	17312	The title on the box is "Lintjesregen 2013" and has number 17312. Issued in 2013. Orange box with the medal on the front "Limited Edition 26-04-2013". Jan van Haasteren received a medal. Starting May 7, 2013, the puzzle "De Inhuldiging" (The Inauguration) will be available in a special box because of the medal awarded to Jan van Haasteren. Jan received this medal from Queen Beatrix on April 26, 2013. This special edition of the puzzle was developed by Jumbo to thank Jan van Haasteren for the many puzzles he created. Jan van Haasteren and his wife Romi (who passed away in 2015) were unaware of this. On April 26, Jan van Haasteren was picked up from his home and taken to the new museum in Bergen, where the medal was presented. Jan van Haasteren is appointed Knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau and the medal is presented by the mayor of Bergen. This is an extremely rare puzzle, you rarely come across it! Tip: the rare puzzle with number 17312 has the barcode 26-01-2013.
2013 Honors Day	81242	The title on the box is "Lintjesregen 2013" and has number 81242. Issued in 2013. Orange box with the medal on the front, "Special Edition." This is a puzzle with the old numbering system, and the number starts with an "8." These puzzles are either published by a third party (for example, Trekpleister or Gamma), but can also be given to a puzzle with a special "purpose" or "role." The latter is the case here. 81242 was given away by Jumbo to contacts who were involved in the ribbon ceremony for Jan van Haasteren. Some people received such a box at the reception after receiving the ribbon from Jan.
