No idea why, but this search book is very rare; that is almost impossible to get anywhere. Certainly not at a Kruidvat, but also very difficult to buy second-hand via, for example, Marktplaats or Facebook Marketplace. I was able to get it after a long search, after a considerable bidding war, I thought for 20 or 25 euros. But there are really collectors who want the entire series of Search Books complete. 3. Jan van Haasteren Search book: Tall Ship Chaos (Kruidvat – Big Balloon)

In this search book 8 puzzles by Jan van Haasteren are depicted, there is no unambiguous theme to distinguish within this search book. But all very nice puzzles with many recurring elements in it. You will certainly enjoy this search book!

This search book is called Olympic Games, but mainly contains search plates with sports in it. So don't let the search book name surprise you. So the theme is 'Sports'. Note: Also in this search book, the puzzles of Jan van Haasteren are not fully displayed on the search plate. Sometimes the top and/or bottom edge of the puzzle is more or less missing. These posters in the search book are perhaps less suitable to use while puzzling? Just so you know when you buy the puzzle book. Only the puzzle 'Chalk on Time' has not appeared in 1000 pieces, all the others have. This puzzle is only available in 1500 pieces.

There is no single theme to discover in this search book, it is a mix of all kinds of puzzles (search plates) with all kinds of subjects. All very nice puzzles to make, in which many recurring elements of Jan van Haasteren can be found. Nice search book!

This search book contains all kinds of nice search plates with the theme 'Winter'. Note: only the puzzle 'Winter Games' is not completely in the search book. That is a cut-out, a large part of the entire puzzle is missing. This poster in the search book is certainly not suitable to use while puzzling, because you are missing a very large part of the puzzle! One search plate, namely 'De Stoptrein', is not a puzzle. That is exceptional, because almost all search plates have also appeared as a puzzle.

This search book contains all kinds of nice search plates, but does not have a specific theme like you have with other search books (for example the theme 'Winter'). The special thing about this search book is that it has no name and no number. That is difficult to find on the internet where you can order it and which search book it is. I have only given a name to this search book, based on the images in this search book, namely 'Kassa Erbij' – that is the puzzle that is depicted on the front. If you look at the 8 search plates in the search book, you only see pictures/puzzles with many people coming together. This search book was published in June 2021, at the same time as the next search book 'Technische Hoogstandjes'.

The special thing about this search book is that it has no name and no number. That is difficult to find on the internet where you can order it and which search book it is. I have only given a name to this search book, based on the images in this search book, namely 'Technical Delights' – that is the image of the puzzle on the front cover of the Search Book. If you look at the 8 search plates in the search book, you only see images/puzzles with factories or departments where something is made or produced or that hard work is being done. This search book was published in June 2021, at the same time as the next search book 'Many People at Each Other'.

17. Jan van Haasteren Search book 'South Pole expedition' or 'December/Winter' (Kruidvat edition – Big Balloon)

This search book by Jan van Haasteren, published by Kruidvat, again has no name and number. So I gave it the name 'Searchbook South Pole Expedition', named after the name of the puzzle (South Pole Expedition) which is printed on the front. The puzzle South Pole Expedition is recognizable by all those penguins that are on the puzzle, and it seems that if you are going to make this puzzle that you count the number of penguins that appear on the puzzle 🙂 However, on Bol.com he is named as a search book 'December/Winter' – also an appropriate name. This search book was published in October 2021. It contains quite a few puzzles that have something to do with winter, but there are also a few other images. In total there are 8 images.
