DescriptionThese are not very rare. You see the puzzles regularly passing by on marketplace. However: the puzzle collector would prefer to have all 6 of them and then also complete and preferably in good condition. Jan didn't do a lot of work for Popeye. In addition to Popeye, he also drew the Pink Panther. Another legendary figure 🙂 Popeye signed Jan for advertising purposes, for licorice ("Red band if you're for Pret" - that slogan of that licorice in the past), so for puzzles and for the covers of gramophone records. Jan could have even started drawing the Popeye comic, but he said 'no'. He was too busy. He did all the work for Popeye for the company Wavery Productions. This puzzle is therefore 1 of the 6 Popeye puzzles of 63 pieces. They are super simple puzzles, and there is almost nothing else on the box. The whole series is: Popeye Fish (1), Popeye Tandem (2), Popeye Desert (3), Popeye Moose (4), Popeye Carnival (5), Popeye Wildland (6).
